BIO book covering film 320 clear is made from bio-based polyethylene. This plant-based film made from renewable natural resources is 90µm thick. The carbon footprint of bio-based film is smaller compared to a traditional product.
The backing material for book covering films is siliconized release paper with a printed logo. The printing inks used in the backing paper are water-based and silicone is solvent-free.
The adhesive is a water-based acrylic adhesive. It does not contain heavy metals. The adhesive has a small delay in initial adhesion, which allows minor corrections to be made during covering.
Release paper can be disposed of as energy waste or incinerated waste, i.e. mixed waste.
Bio-based PE film can be recycled.
